Comes Lisocore by Tecnoform, an MDF surface with a particularly light core. It is an extremely versatile material, easy to coat and laminate, compatible with the most popular fastening systems and hinges.

Nowocore, an innovative material patented by Tecnoform with special features, is born:

Production of complete furniture kits for motorhomes, caravans and vans. Discover our projects & complete furnitures.
Launch of the ‘Space-saving solutions’ line characterised by extendable and foldable furniture elements. Tables, tops and benches that are easy to open and close can be concealed in small drawers. This guarantees ample freedom of movement.

Launch of the first high gloss door with wood pattern. The gloss effect can be applied to both flat and curved doors.

Presentation of the new design concept ‘Light’. For the first time, LED technology is integrated in each furniture component.

Development of frameless solutions for tables and tops with high aesthetic impact.

New industrial process patented by Tecnoform, which allows to:
- Reduce by an additional 15% doors and panels weight by using new wood materials
- Reduce production costs
- Reduce pressing times
- Obtain products with a more resistant surface

Innovative coupling systems are developed that allow:
- the sink and hob to be flush mounted with the worktop
- lock the door in the open, upward-opening position
- automatically mount hinges in seconds

The first “Shell door” with lightened embossing is born: the first ultra-light door (20% weight saving).

New curved shapes are produced for the first time by rounding the door’s edges. This is how the “P15 Profile” and the first door with curved aeronautical shapes were born.

First RV overhead door on a curved frame.

First table with a raised edge as seen on yachts. It prevents objects from falling off the surface while granting elegance and style.

“Artikina”, the first easy-to-assemble modular door. It consists of five pieces that can be made of either wood or plastic, which fit together with a simple press, forming the frame and locking the central panel.

“Jokit”, the first camper van kit with a definitely innovative design, is launched by Tecnoform.
1978
Computer technology. Tecnoform is the first company in Bologna to adopt IT tools and procedures

Tecnoform patented handles, installed for the first time in the first Fiat motorhome.

Cutting-edge production of special, innovative materials with high performance in terms of thermal and acoustic insulation.
